Well the saga is still alive
STO and ESG must be wondering what sort of Juice powers the ESG Clinic
If a cat crosses the road and fails to get run over will it try again and again until finally a wheel runs over its head ?
90cents 90cents 90cents Splat 30cents 30cents
What is going through the wiring in the virtual brain of the ESG room
Some now reckon STO is the good guy and will bring the gas out of the coals
Some hate STO for being strategic, opportunistic and decisive unlike its previous record with Delhi and QGC
All seem to hate the ESG Board for its Easy Rollover
BUT now the ORG theme has been picked up as the great saviour to rescue retail holders from the indignity of being tied to the STO share price
What happened to the 90c - where is it in the ESG share price ? Not seen since 22/7/11
Oh well! ,we now have the new ratio of 0.06881 to work on as our fearless leader Mr Anderson told us about in his letter from the Armchair like a fireside missive from the cold new england plains - The Chairman's letter
Learn something from this - any company with a politician as its head or anywhere within the board should be avoided as they are too comfortable with their taxpayer funded superannuation and other rich benefits
The same goes for other do gooder equity type board appointments of people who dont have the experience or the drive
90cents is not too bad
I reckon that must of us would sell for 90cents if we could get that today as opposed to the long hard road through the hyperinflationary LNG wilderness of multiple capital raisings to cover the likely GLNG 30%+ budget blowouts (Like Pluto) until the first gas flows in 2015 or later and some money rolls in the door
The thought of all those CRs at 20% discounts
$16Bn for GLNG x 1.30 = $20.8Bn or round it off to 21Gillards an increase of 4.8Bn
STO share 30% = 1.44Bn - where is that going to come from ?
All the projects running at once so ORG will be doing capital raisings as well . Competition for money so will a 20% discount be enough to get STO holders to cough up the $1.44Bn+ needed to finish GLNG ? STO will be printing like ESG and hit the 1Bn shares milestone for sure.
And will the GLNG partners be able to find their share of the blowout ?
You look at the STO trend line set up from 2000-2003 extrapolated to now and you see that STO is going to hit it at about $10 pretty soon. The Market sees the Risks very clearly.
If we stay with ESG transmogulating into STO then we have to steel ourselves for the Ice Road of their visionary strategy to transform STO into an LNG company. It wont be easy but I know we have the right stuff as the last two years have proven. When the going gets tough we just keep Barking that Cat away until one night the Cat hits the rubber.
90cents Cash from ORG would be a Grand Relief
Let the ORG deliver us from the Santo
Cheers
