When someone states their buy-in price at the start of their post, the number would almost always be a lie; yours is actually a case in point. A person who is sitting at a profit would be unlikely to be compelled to state their buy-in price because of the relative calmness they would be feeling. Understanding that, the urge to state a buy-in price comes almost exclusively as the result of negative emotions that could only come from having suffered financial loss as the result of having bought shares at a much higher price. Admitting to the fact would cause great deal of pain, hence the person suffering would state a lie instead.
