By every mean it is not that simple. A producer with an unhedged book selling into the spot market may track the nickel spot price as suggested but BSX is a junior exploring untested regions with no producing assets, for what reason would the nickel spot price influence day to day movements? On a longer time frame there is no doubt that the nickel price will exert some influence on the SP, but to suggest that the price action is 'weird' makes little sense.
