We are witnessing the beginning of an epic run for ALC as the market awakens to it's technology, prospects, management team and runs on the board.

When they came to market, they were already cum 5m revenue with domestic contracts and the tech had 15m invested in its optimisation / development by the owners.

So what does this tech do? How does it work & how does it help hospitals?
    - These are great questions and there is an extremely simple answer

ALC has a technology platform called "Miya" which brings together disparate tech systems in different areas such as pathology, oncology or ED & centralises the data so that patient diagnosis, care history & test results are available in one place.

You would be shocked at the level of mis-communication at hospitals with different departments keeping different records & doubling up on tests etc... this all takes time & utilises precious hospital staff resources & beds!

With MIYA, doctors, using a simple iPad around the ward, can have all the relevant info at their fingertips.

The tech has resonated very well with Australian hospitals and we are signing contract after contract - the news flow in this regard is fantastic & the margins with the deployment are solid given they are essentially buying the software.

Nathan Buzza (Exec Director) who himself owns 6% of the company via Allure Capital (his private investment company) sees enormous potential with the tech. Remember in a previous life, he was the second largest shareholder in Azure Healthcare which 10-baged from 3.3c to 34c. So Buzza knows his stuff!

With domestic expansion ticking along, ALC hired Brian Leedman as a Non-Exec Director to leverage his contacts in the North American hospital world. He has extensive connections via RESAPP HEALTH (RAP) and their push in to the largest & most prestigious hospitals in the US. His 'street cred' with these hospitals is invaluable for ALCs push as it opens doors & quickly.

How is this important in US?

ObamaCare (which I'm sure you have all heard of) has revolutionised healthcare in the US & depending on who you ask - for better or for worse (but that's a whole different conversation).

As part of the push - ObamaCare has directly allocated US$1.3B towards a rollout of electronic medical records (EMR) across ALL US HOSPITALS. Further to this - from 1 Jan 2016 punitive damages kick in to hospitals that are not making progress towards adopting EMR.

So - US hospitals are being required - BY LAW - to rollout the exact product that ALC has perfected & is being adopted at a rate of knots in Australia.

That's the kicker for me - it screams opportunity & now that we are getting on investors radars, we will march along the SH Value enhancing ride. Lets not forget that 4 groups of investors also own 70% of the stock (40% founders - 15% Blue Sky PE - 9% Employees - 6% Allure Capital)

Sure - we will get ups & downs in the daily SP, but 10c is an absolute minimum in the ultra-short term & then 20c beyond that. We have 6m in cash so there is ZERO CR RISK which is also a bonus. EV @ 10c = 55m & EV @ 20c = 115m.

Looks like the sleeping dragon may be getting ready to roar & produce a RAP-style run!
