Hmmm, I've heard it said some years ago that the type of activity we've seen here recently maybe/might
be a sophisticated type of test prod of sorts where the orders issuer is prepared to manage a
loss leader before actioning either a take-over offer or a major position placement prior to injecting
capital for relocation such as into USA, Europe where the bigger profits & exposure of this type
of tech stock make such recent market movements mere chicken feed etc. Eg Given the size &
capacities of US Health Management Organisations (HMO) and their tactics I wouldn't be too quick
to discount such possibility however remote it might seem, especially when bearing in mind:-
These key factors re ALC:-
- An emerging sector where advanced mechanisation of health care systems can be very profitable
- big data & informatics allow considerable leverage opportunity in associated emerging AI markets
- small cap stock with small number of top shareholders lowest of which sufficient shareholding to be
apprised of a suitable exit to ensure one or more board positions with or otherwise from existing
public liquidity
- Subsequent re-drawing co constitution/articles
- 30M shares held by Mr. Buzza's co - which has history selling Commtech through to an HMO
- Share trading is global, foreigners can easily buy up parcels & collaborate for leverage
The Q arises, what to do because if there is a move to privatise and this might be very desirable
for an HMO once they have a sizable position then what does that mean for those accumulating now ?
Do we have a corporate lawyer around able to comment, anonymously of course ?
ie. If we decline an offer then we retain as shareholders of a private (merged) co but, the memoranda
& articles of association (depending on votes) can be re-drawn to farm out the existing ALC IP to "other entities"
which can be mere middle men, maybe paying 25c/share then onselling at several $ per share subsequently...
What to do ? Well think on such an outside chance whilst watching this piece:-
Maybe I'm far too soon considering this, or acting upon it, I've heard it claimed prematurely before ;-)
Have fun...
