What will be an interesting sub-plot will be if there's a push to sideline Harris, and Biden (or his handlers) pick a different VP nominee. Because as the campaign closes in on November, it will be a major plank of the Republican campaign that a vote for Biden is de facto a vote for his VP to be Pres within a few months. "4 more years" chant gong up for Biden? You're 'avin' a larf, mate...
If there's a spine anywhere in the inner circle? Biden would be told to resign and go away, forthwith. And Harris would be President within 10 days from now, so July 12th.
If not, it's over for the Dems and Trump 2.0 becomes an actuality.
