Muppet, I am still lt optimistic after 4 or 5 years. Has been trying at times. With my limited capacity to fully understand it, I also think the tech is amazing. I can only imagine what those who can fully understand it's potential must think. I have wavered over the journey, mainly due to BBI and agree this deal is no longer as probable, hence current SP. I don't see any reason not to still be very hopeful re. PoC1. From the latest ann Geoff talks about PoC1's interest in new patent and potential to further improve sensor. Also, it was said not too long ago that this collaboration was expected to go on for years(can't remember where off the top of my head). I know, new discoveries, patented, PoC interested, could improve sensor all sounds a bit vague and ho hum. But is it, just because the deal hasn't dropped yet? And the others, (vet, IVD, Luminex etc) are they reliant on BBI or PoC1? I wouldn't have thought so. Any acquisition yes, but any of these deals eventuating would help on that front.
Anyway, after a few years reading these posts, I am extremely grateful to you and others, and particularly Twin for what he brings to my/everyone's attention because as a single dad with 3 very young kids I simply don't have the time(or the knowledge tbh) to do the research he does. I do have time to check out his research and sources from time to time though and it astounds me that people bag him for all the work he does bringing this stuff to the attention of interested investors. Sure he gets excited about some of the stuff, but the line is generally pretty clear between the factual info and the hopeful exuberance and dot joining imo. Just like you're posts are clear, plenty of good info, with a bit of emotion. Clearest of all is that ADO are dealing with BIG players who make their own decisions if/WHEN they are ready. Will they? Won't they? At least PoC1 we should know soon enough.
s2096914, to think it's a dog, but not move on, I don't get it. That PoC1 potential must loom very large for even you, otherwise why not cut your losses and try to make it back someplace else. Re. the thumbs up, people with resilience usually get a thumbs up..win, lose or draw. I haven't met Twin, but surely he's got this in spades. And I'm not one of the ra ra squad, barely posted in these few years holding/reading.
I am still an ADO optimist with my limited knowledge (would be far more limited without much of the meaningful discussion I see here), so I have more skin in than I probably should. If Poc1 went cold I would be horrified, but I don't see it happening at this stage. Still, worst case scenario, I'll take a loss or do me dough, work hard, save hard and have a crack at something else. Best case, I pay off the mortgage and buy a 2nd hand Prado to take the kids deep into the great outdoors. Clearly none of this is financial advice!!! But I do hope one day in the not too distant future I'm enjoying the sunset on the top of some peak in the Dargo High Plains with my "new" '07 Prado, Vic reg. ADO 101, advising my kids about the art of a good campfire. If not, I'll still buy a packet of marshmallows and toast them in the backyard whilst advising my kids about the art of a good campfire.
