The Labor party is the governing party; if they are unable to govern by themselves they should ask for an election
Their own party in the form of the Greens will not vote for them why should the Conservatives do anything to assist them? The Conservatives do not have any responsibility other than trying to keep the ruling party on the straight and narrow as they see it.
They are not there to help govern the country. Julia said she could do it herself without anyone else. So it's her ball game.
