    I seem to recall that the coalition would have (probably still will) support off shore processing provided the country is a signatory to the UN - and I believe that used to be labor policy.

    According to the cabinet leaks, Chris Bowen was pushing for Nauru but Gillard voted AGAINST it. Pretty silly to now blame the coalition. Information from the leaks:

    ""She's the Prime Minister, she made the call," said one cabinet minister.

    "She got what she wanted. We backed her. Now she can make it work," said another Labor MP."
