There would probably be a knee jerk reaction to the sp if we had a sudden change of government but don't forget that people who are missing out on the current announced rollout area are already whinging so obviously many in the electorate want it.
Labor have done the hard bit getting Telstra to structurally separate so I'm pretty sure that the coalition would be unlikely to squander the opportunity seeing that they had so many frustrating legal issues with Telstra when they were in office.
