Cant see why you'd take a large position as an investor now when some large placements are inevitable. A large investor would be able to pick up cheap stock under the guise of sophisticated investor. Unless they believe the shareprice is going to rocket further from here beforehand. Based on information presented its hard to see how. But this large bidding leaves food for thought and greys the fundamental view somewhat.
