I believe Cuba relies heavily on Venezuela for nearly all its oil needs.
If MAY/Sonangol can produce a commercial discovery i think Sonangol will prefer to be the in country multi decade sole provider.
A very simple supply demand oil friendly jurisdiction.
Yes they have or are trying to sell some of their oil plays but not all of them.
I see a deal being as everything has a price and our CEO will want to monetize and move on.
