"Not enough to worry a long term holder"

Maybe not, but when Mrs DD gets home from overseas I would like her to see something better than IOUs propping up my watchlists. She is making more just on her blue-chip dividends than all the value accrueing on my resource stocks.

I also don't view a drop of 8.7% today as 'slowly sinking'; the Titanic went down slower than this one.
However, that hit an iceberg; TNG has hit an MVT deposit (allegedly), which means that this gash in the side is going to get repaired pdq when the news starts getting heard; but I'd rather not have to wait until after the wet for something positive.
