Many years ago I began a search for buy/sell, buy/sell strategies based on rising and falling trends.
The best I found was point and figure charting.
The method is 80+ years old but tried and true.
Dorsey has written a few books on the method. It was what made Wall St great before computers.

Of course I have adapted it to what i believe is critical in stock analysis - % moves.
Have also automated it to manage 550 stocks on the ASX on a daily basis.
Everything old is new again.
