The quantitative fair value estimate responding to sentiment (market value) sounds a bit implausible to me. It would make the whole exercise kind of pointless. I thought it more likely that the sentiment was responding to the fair value estimate, or whatever information was driving it. Has the price of the minerals been jumping around?
