It is an anti rape march following comments made by a policeman about not looking like sluts to avoid getting raped. Reality is that women get raped irrespective of their dress. So suggesting it is a woman's fault is not helpful.

To be honest marching against rape is probably not that productive as I very much doubt the rapists will listen.

A few of the women at work were telling me last week that at night or somewhere quiet they hold their keys in their hand ready to gouge someone's eye if necessary. A sad reality.
