    You're I probably don't have all the history.

    I find you don't get a second chance to make a first impression. This whole slut walk thing doesn't really seem like a dignified way to get their message across.

    Why are people so worried about what others think of them?

    IMO, if my daughter feels the need to wear skimpy revealing clothing like I see around these days, I'd be disappointed.

    When I was 18, I inevitably ended up at King Cross at one point, and the only scantily dressed girls were the working one's. Without casting aspersions, it seems there must be a lot more working girls these days.

    Maybe I'm just a bit traditional about what I expect in my house.

    I am NOT saying girls wearing minimal clothing are sluts and am certainly not suggesting its their fault they have been raped. I just think its a really poor way to get your message across. It could be perceived the girls marching the way they are, is just living up to the name they say they haven't deserved..??
