I think Volt was referring to the real price of silver
in Medieval times before the Spaniards invaded South America & silver flooded into Europe in enormous quantities
from Inca & Aztec sources. There are charts which show the precipitous drop in silver price . Had the same effect as
JpMorgan & friends flooding the market with silver paper today.
