I have long, (very long) been concerned that we have a technology, unprotected by patent, (probably to the good as i assume it would have expired) that is about a quarter of a centurYou y old. This means that others, some with insight that can hardly be protected by any Secrecy Act, have been beavering away, while for many years, in the periods that Silex twiddled its collective thumbs, we progressed little. This is not meant as a criticism, (which of course it is) but is a source of great concern to me.
