Actually SLX does have patent - however, these are "classified patents" due to the nature of our technology. This is apparent from the resume of our competitor (LIS Technology) where Christo Leibenbergs resume on their web site (referring to his employment as Laser Systems Manager with Silex from Jan 2006 to Dec 2011) says "He (co-)authored at least 10 patents and published many technical papers and reports, mostly in the classified space" (see HERE).
