A2M are just cancelling the Exclusivity of supply. Not supply in total. But A2M have also flagged they intend getting 3 SAMR registered suppliers in place. One no doubt being Mataura.
So, as demand for A2M's product increases this extra demand won't be met by SM1.
The main issue here is that it appears SM1 haven't been able to meet just the basic supply agreement requirement to DIFOT. So this means they can't be selling as much to A2M as they could. Nor as much as they planned to. So not as much as required to keep bankers happy. Which means reduced revenue. Which means greater stress on banking covenants.
