As far as I can tell M Allen and staff wanted to go ahead and told BYE that they would but the OEL board knocked it on the head. It wouldn’t be the first time the OEL BoD has made a mistake overruling management...anyone remember the sale of the Turk gas field the board rejected throwing away about $8m from memory..
So when the F4 result is out you can say the BoD were prudent /smart lucky/unlucky or stupid..and the opposite about M Allen and staff...
