I have always regarded the lotteries business as a non starter.
It may be that there has been some acceptance of "expertise" from Smarttrans but given the way things operate does anyone really think that a foreign company would be given any significant ownership in a State initiative.
In my opinion the only way Sma can succeed is through building the niche Aussie sales it is presently trying to build.
However, the competition is fierce given the likes of Alibaba so the outlook is not looking rosy.
