    IMO opinion below:

I agree that vanadium will certainly dominate the higher (MW) energy storage, but my view is lithium will probably dominate the household/smaller scale energy storage market in the immovable sector as per energy storage (and not to be confused with EVs where batteries there are in the moveable market). The reason is the efficiency of vanadium batteries are at a larger scale IMO IMO and also vanadium is also a much heavier element (and that impacts energy efficiency and energy loss btw) and more costlier element (hence the importance of scale). Certainly though with technological progress this could and will change.

I went through my thoughts on this in the posts below in other stocks and they provide a guage as to why I view that. There is a bit of mathematics/chemical conversions in some of these posts, but the point of me replying is simply not in relation to lithium but because I see a role for graphite (given it is in the anode of most lithium ion batteries) in the household storage market too.

But in terms of large scale energy storage (MW) that is the share of vanadium, because vanadium batteries can discharge/recharge continuously and at the same time theoretically, whilst lithium discharges and then you recharge etc etc. That is the beauty of vanadium, but its weight, cost and efficiency makes them useless for the moveable market (EVs) and IMO the small scale kWh market (i.e. households) and smaller scale batteries, but that is IMO obviously

You may find this post useful as well around maths for vanadium efficiency and embedded posts therein - Post #: 44275995

The post immediately below for those interested be compared to the same exercise for lithium, but this post gives the flavour. Post #: 40855132 - section 2 around atomic weight/energy efficiency lithium (posted in LTR).

Posted for debate only. I am sure most may disagree but that is fine too.

    All IMO IMO IMO
