Yes, we've had it in SA for a long while. The 10c is added on to the selling price but the customer can get a refund at a recycling depot (usually done in bulk quantities). The big benefit is that you don't see any drink bottles or cans lying around anywhere. Some people make a few bucks spending money by going around collecting them, including rummaging through bins lol. If you see one in a public place you can guarantee it will be gone the next time you pass by. Works very well.
