How many Copper producers are there in Australia ? Putting aside BHP and RIO (they are multi commodity plays), not many is the answer. Here's a list from a Livewire article last year. The production estimates are a little out of date. Austral resources not on the list as they weren't in production but they're now doing 10kt. Val's are a bit wacky because the resource base for each varies. AISC - not the same as C1 just as a comment.
SP for each
OZL - $22
SFR - $5C6C - $2.50 (was $4 but speculation they are selling their Eva deposit for $300m but not sure to whom? But yet another reserve being gobbled up ?)
AIS - $0.10 - very limited resource.
AR1 - $0.30 (just producing, 10kt pa, undervalued)
What does this all tell us ? CYM significantly undervalued !
