I think you have misinterpreted the words in the announcement. The way I read it: The (full) testing process will take a minimum of 4 months.....with the first (initial) results starting to come through approximately 2 months after the cathode is produced.
The full results will be from testing the completed battery. The initial results will start to filter through after they have made the cathode - which is part of the overall battery.
This keeps the 4 month timeframe - not 6.
