If direct extraction becomes the new standard (and there are several types of direct extraction) then overnight evaporation ponds will become obsolete as they are slow to operate, hard to scale up and environmentally troublesome. If Direct Extraction does become the new standard LKE will be several years ahead of the game. Just a few things need to go right and LKE will do very well.
