I am now getting so confused ....Son cannot pay excess unless the old man claims on my Son and his insurance. Son cannot claim anything from his insurance as it is ONLY 3rd party damage...to the other car not his.
There is nothing for him to pay in excess unless the old man tries to claim.
As he (son) was clearly hit in the backside.
Puckeye.... he does have cover if he hits someone else....I wish some would just read my first post properly.
If he hits someone and it is his fault....then he will pay the excess and have to fix his own car.
