"Son took photo of the man's license and car...did not get his insurance details as the man said it was his fault.
The man said to son you are on your own as you did not leave me enough space to brake and I am towing a trailer."
Sounds like a desperate statement from a person 100% at fault. It's a double admission. That he was following to close and that with a trailer he requires more braking distance. How one can deduce that it's the responsibility of the car in front to be responsible for keeping an eye and judgment on the vehicle behind is bewildering.
Unless there is an exceptional reason the person at the rear is always 100% in blame.
I reiterate on previous threads. The majority of drivers have the attention span of a goldfish and the concentration of a 2 yrs old.
