    There is definately a correlation (especially in late 70s) between Gold Spot Vs Oil coupled with stagflation pressures in the US. Similar position to where we are today - baring the US Gov living in denial and Bernanke only finally stating a slight possible rise in inflation...

    Gold will rise if it follows historical trends. I am placing my bets on this trend!
