farlap, I guess 10c can act like a bit of a 'barrier' due to the sudden increase in sp increments. But I'm not sure if that's happening here, although I suspect it could be with the short term traders.
The 2010 september run obviously smashed straight through the 10c line with some exiting news, and then on to 20c with the help of the 0.5c sp increments. I wish I knew what could make that happen again, as I would then have something to hope for.
