Going by experience using the computer to sell and buy shares. I have noticed that to fill say 5000 shares filling that quota bits and pieces as used to fill that quota. Especially at the end of the day. And when you look up buying and selling small parcels are shown I complained about it ( I got caught out selling small parcels) but was explained to me as above.
