Bots were buying at 9.7 cents today, keeping the price against the ask. As soon as someone ponied up to move the bid to 9.8, they started selling into the bid.
It is (IMO) being used to constrain the trading range, unless it is a high flying broker looking for profits in $1 packages.
Again, guessing but perhaps it suits someones purposes to keep the shareprice in the 9.5-10 cent range.
