With respect nonic, I can't take that too seriously. There have been many instances during that period where large holders could have unloaded in a much smarter (and frankly much more profitable) manner. Just looks like too hard a grind for your theory to ring true (imho, of course).
Odd yes, dubious perhaps, manipulated certainly, but in the end just games.
