TWO other companies with market caps south of $25 million working hard for Liberian riches are Equator Resources (EQU) and Tawana Resources (TAW).
Equator has just managed to drag a giant reverse-circulation drill rig into the heart of the jungle, and has started drilling the Bukon Jedeh mine, which has been clearly defined by artisanal miners.
Tawana has found what could be a high-class, direct shipping iron ore body. The potential is for a low capital cost mine, because the deposit is close to the coast and a railway line - although, since the civil war, the latter is more like a corridor where the line used to be. And by the way, these guys are also looking for gold and should be drilling soon.
