Maybe they are planning a trucking operation to start with for the DSO.

A fleet of a couple of thousand trucks making a journey of 500km to the port and then 500km back once a fortnight could get half a million tonnes a year shipped I reckon.

Or if there is an airport nearby then maybe they could get a fleet of A380s or Galaxies and develop a sky train direct to China. I reckon they could get 25,000 tonnes a year to China with enough planes flying once a day to Beijing. There might be room for a few passengers as well to improve the economics. On the way back they could bring noodles.
