You are quite correct elio. The ASX does have trading halts, which PDN can enter into at any stage with little or no warning. From there they can go into Voluntary Administration fairly easy.
At least with the TSX shareholders are being given time to research and find out about the huge debt problems that PDN has and then make a decision on holding or selling the shares while people will still give them money for their shares.
Fortunately for ASX holders the CEO of PDN has given shareholders plenty of warning on debt and solvency issues and the "grave consequences" that the company is facing. This will give Australian shareholders the opportunity to get out before the company is put into a trading halt.
