People are motivated by money & greed.
Management own a large chunk of the register. They stand to clean up financially when this eventually gets into production. Their stubbornness in sticking to a certain game plan is IMO the problem. Not their bona fides.
The resources have been discovered. This is not a pocket miner or lifestyle explorer.
