My concerns about privacy is not AGL, My own knowledge of how hacking has been achieved in the past.
There was one case where a computer was hacked though a power supply. Which is old news by the way.
I have friends who are electronics hobbyists who can probably do it.

Since i know that you can hack computers though power supply and and a smart meter is remotely connected to the power of a house it might follow if you can hack a smart meter you may be able to gain access to a computer through the power supply remotely.
