Smart meters are great, with wi fi you can get accurate readings, as per getting ripped off that happens when you sign up with anyone, after all their business model is to make money, best you go off grid, starting burning dung, ditch your smart phone/computer and rely on the post and dial up phones ( do they still have those relics) that way no one can hack you and you'll be right
