A thought accured to me last night. The Chinese have been investing in and buying up Australian gold companies for a number of years now, and, apart from the chatter between we longer term gold investors/bugs, it hasn't seemed to register with the broader community/market. Possibly because just who is who in the zoo in the mainly State controlled push to secure gold resources is more often than not opaque at best.
And then VOILA!! All of a sudden Gina and Twiggy are investing in the up - until - lately despised and derided Victorian gold sector and KA-POW!!! I'ts like someone just flicked on the MCG lights on a gloomy day!
There will be a stampede at some stage - be ready!
