Guys and girls I'm reading the other posts and the attitude is obviously against the acceptance of the bid.

    I agree!

But let’s look at the picture from another side.

    1. The directors have revealed that they want to sell, they made that very clear. We ask why they would want to sell.
    a) They want to cash in when they can get the most for their shares and this is the ideal position. Uranium is hot, there is money in the bank, and they are still very much undiluted.
    b) You all know what the difference between explorer and producer is. To get to producer status the directors (and all of us) will have to dilute. At the end, even if OMC becomes a producer it is still uncertain if the directors (and all of us) will actually get more money for our shares (diluted). Just look at HDR and see what happened when they went from explorer to producer.
    c) We are all hopping on a PDN story with OMC, but the directors are not the directors of PDN. OMC directors are opportunists and this is their opportunity.
    2. But why would they accept the first offer?
    a) IMHO this is a tactical move. By accepting, they announce that OMC is for sale. If they bluntly declined the offer, it is very unlikely that any other bids would appear at this time.
    b) All other interested parties (and I believe there are few) are now saying "wow, look at these fools, they are willing to sell cheap, lets bid".
    3) I expect a "small" bidding war over OMC. It would be unbelievable if another bid does not appear in the next two weeks. If may not be all cash, but we will get another bid.

I hope that the above makes sense, and hold on to those OMC shares, we'll see $2 by Feb 2007.
