First Data Announces Departure of Jim Schoedinger

First Data Corp, a provider of electronic commerce and payment services, has announced that Jim Schoedinger, president of the company's Card Issuing Services, will be leaving the company to pursue other opportunities. Chairman and CEO, Charlie Fote, stated, "I want to thank Jim for all of his hard work and wish him the very best in his future endeavors."

Collis’ EMV Terminal Toolkit Fully Covers Visa Requirements

Collis’ have announced the release of the EMV Terminal Toolkit which fully covers the requirements for the Acquirer Device Validation Toolkit (ADVT) of Visa International. Collis’ implementation can be used for end-to-end testing of POS devices and ATMs. With this tool, terminal vendors, processors and acquirers can speed up the introduction of new Visa EMV terminals. Any EMV POS and EMV ATM type needs to pass the Visa ADVT tests before it can be connected to the Visa network. ACI and Absa Bank Celebrate 10 Year Partnership

Keycorp Completes Sale of TNS Business

Secure electronic transaction solutions provider Keycorp Limited, has announced that it completed the sale to Telstra of all of its shares in Keycorp Solutions Limited, Keycorp’s wholly owned subsidiary in which the TNS business resided, for $55 million.

VeriFone Holdings, Inc has announced that Cold Stone Creamery, the fastest growing ice cream concept in America, is equipping franchisees with the Omni 3750 payment solution to implement a nationwide electronic gift card program. The rollout of the solution is slated to occur over the next three months and also bundles credit and debit card acceptance into a cost effective and upgradeable package that can adapt to Cold Stone Creamery’s aggressive growth plans.

To provide the fastest service possible during peak times, many Cold Stone franchisees will utilise multiple Omni 3750 systems to speed patrons through the payment process efficiently.
