Yes, as CEO of a company it would be silly to get into online conversations about OEL on a chat forum.
However, not everyone is comfortable with ringing a CEO to get clarification on certain issues.
When Hawkeye-1 was reported non commercial, I think a lot of shareholders stayed the course with OEL because of the Alaska entry where we were led to believe 3 wells would be drilled from early 2016.
Obviously this didn't happen and no reason was given why the change in plan and drilling targets.
Ok, sh*t happens, but for accountability, something like that really needs to be explained in print via a release to the ASX, rather than one on one phone conversations, imo.
