I would only short if pretty sure I would not loose money as u need to cover at T+2 on the ASX. Difficult if say a rumor comes up that a Private Equity Group (PEG) will buy it.
Even a PEG rumor would be enuff to stir the bots and algos into an upwards momentum signal and u need 2 cover that at T+2. Shorting is a lot easier on NYSE, NASDAQ, TSE and LSE.
