Yes and with all these layers of safety ........planes still occasionally go down.
I am under no illusion that when I step into that great tin can, with a couple of massively powered
jet engines strapped on the wings, that is about to be propelled thousands of metres into the air
that my personal risk profile just leapt a few notches.
It is called common sense.
