Copper keeps on powering away over supply concerns in the medium to lond term.
Last nights price was an all time high yet again-will be of enormous benefit to RIO and BHP, with the mighty OX offering superb blue chip leverage!
Also of interest ,Teck Cominco just hired Merrills as its adviser in a yet undisclosed transaction. A bid for Inco, maybe, and bid for OX, maybe-but Merrills are pretty close to the OX as an equity holder!
And zinc running along as well as gold. Time for Mr Heggarty to increase his senior staff salaries-he runs a lean ship!-and inspire them for more project developments. Maybe a jv in China? There is a conference there this week.
