The question is - exactly how dirty to people play? And I'm talking about the big boys.

Analyse this behaviour. A sudden, rather massive dump. Why?

1. Bad news coming - equals inside infromation, innsider trading, illegal.

2. Price manipulation, aiming to scare other (us littlies?) into running away. Note there were 4 biggish sellers on 10.5 so if that was the aim it worked to some extent. Surely this too is rule-breaking? Though it would be pretty hard to prove.

3. someone getting out for no nasty reason. Unlikely; such a person would more probably sell in dribs to keep the price stable.

Let's wait and see. End-of-day trades and tomorrow's behaviour should give a clearer picture.

I admit to feeling a bit narked - bought some at 11.5 this morning! But NOT applying a stop-loss; that could be exactly the aim of the exercise.
