Cabcharge eftpos terminals that are in all taxis around Australia are the only terminals that can process cabcharge cards and e-tickets. They also accept all other major credit cards and each transaction made on a CAB eftpos terminal attract a 10% service charge. More than 90% of taxis and hire cars in Australia have this eftpos terminal. The ACCC is having a look at this situation as bieng anti-competetive. Given the downtrend of the market and ACCC involvement, is why I believe the downward spiral on SP.
